Travel Masters Opens Seventh Agency in Courtenay

Expanding to service North Vancouver Island

Courtenay, B.C. – July 19 2012 – Travel Masters expands their presence in British Columbia with the opening of a brand new branch in Courtenay, British Columbia. Opening in July 2012, this will be Travel Masters’ seventh office in Western Canada. Wholly owned by Travel Masters, the office will be staffed by three agents, including Resi Hoglander and Susan Currie who are returning to B.C. from the Prince Albert agency, with the addition of a new agent, Robbin McKay, joining the office.

“This is the beginning of my seventh year with Travel Masters. I see this as an opportunity to expand my business while still having the ability to continue to service of all my clients in Saskatchewan,” Resi said of the move.

“We have been investigating options for new agencies across Canada,” says James Shearer, Director of Progress for Travel Masters. “This particular office space was very attractive to us because of its proximity to both downtown Courtenay and downtown Comox, as well as the potential for agents to join us,” says Shearer. “We’re always actively looking to recruit experienced agents for our agencies and it’s important for us to grow within each community. We’ve had a lot of success with our community locations and Courtenay is a growth market in B.C. Both Resi and Susan have family links in B.C. and on the Island. It made perfect sense for both them and us.”

Travel Masters Courtenay is located at 2 - 239 Puntledge Road just minutes from both downtown Courtenay and downtown Comox.
