About Me

Originally from Uganda – famously dubbed the “Pear of Africa” by Winston Churchill. I was bitten by the travel bug as a child when my parents took me travelling halfway around the world from Mombasa to India with a stop in Seychelles Island. I was only 11 years old and we travelled for 9 months finishing in England when my father got ill, and we returned to Kampala. I began my career in the travel industry as a reservations agent for CP Air. I had a fantastic opportunity to travel extensively and had amazing adventures in my travel. On one of these trips to Thailand I met my Aussie husband backpacking. We got married within 6 months and my husband immigrated to Canada. We traded our home in Vancouver for Roberts Creek a vibrant artist’s community. I joined a local travel agency and began specializing in niche markets such as River Cruises, Club Med, Insight, Regent Cruises, Windstar Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Holland America, Princess Cruises, G Adventures, Intrepid and Independent travel itineraries for both Leisure and Corporate clients. My next bucket list destination is Morocco and Southern Spain. Of all the places I have visited I will always go back to Asia for the incredible people and irresistible cuisine.
